A three-course meal for 150 people has earned the Swiss Armed Forces Culinary Team a gold medal at the Culinary Olympics.
The team of 13 won over the jury and guests with a menu that included a salmon with saffron brioche appetiser, a main dish of chicken breast, olive tortilla and Mediterranean vegetables, and a macchiato dessert with coffee and sour cream.
The team worked in a Nato field kitchen in Germany and the cost was limited to €5 (SFr7.90) per person.
